Roaming Rotarian Peter Krautle high above the tree tops at Ramapo Mountain State Park overlooking the New Jersey countryside on a beautiful clear day!
Ramapo Mountain State Forest has elevations ranging from about 200 to 1,100 feet and many trails, some of which have challenging climbs and descents. A few offer views of the New York City skyline. The forest has many ponds, streams and marshes that provide the perfect habitat for bird and other wildlife species.
